Certificate of Insurance

Insurance for Equipment Rental

Many students use area rental houses for additional equipment. Students interested in renting equipment from DC Camera and The Washington Source must provide insurance when using it at off-campus locations.

Off-campus location owners might ask Film students to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI). If you need a COI, make an appointment with Film at Mason Production Manager, Abbesi Akhamie. You will need to provide a Location Agreement signed by the owner/manager of the property. Mason's Office of Risk Management requires a two-week turnaround to process a COI request, so allow for sufficient time prior to your shoot.

Blackbox Theater and AB1007
