Certificate of Insurance

Insurance for Equipment Rental

Many students use area rental houses for additional equipment. Students interested in renting equipment from DC Camera and The Washington Source must provide insurance when using it at off-campus locations. For more information on COIs, visit the Film and Video Studies Student Blackboard page

Off-campus Locations

Off-campus location owners might ask Film students to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI). If you need a COI, make an appointment with Film at Mason Academic and Program Manager Samantha Sinagra. You will need to provide a Location Agreement signed by the owner/manager of the property. Mason's Office of Risk Management requires a two-week turnaround to process a COI request, so allow for sufficient time prior to your shoot.

AB 1007 and Room Reservations

To reserve AB 1007 in the Art and Design building for auditions or productions, or to get help finding who to contact to reserve spaces on campus, email Film at Mason Academic and Program Manager Samantha Sinagra for assistance.
