Biography
Natalia Melnikova is a Northern Virginia based filmmaker and multimedia visual artist. Their work includes experimental and narrative film, video art, illustration, collage, textiles, and 3D sculpture. While Natalia’s style and subject matter vary, they frequently explore themes of gender expression and representation, as well as questioning the dominant structures that Western cultures have normalized. They are currently pursuing their BA in Film and Video Studies at George Mason University.
