Producing

Film Producing touches almost every aspect of filmmaking. The Producing Pathway offers a broad and balanced creative, business, and legal approach to visual storytelling and collaboration with screenwriters, directors, and cast and crew members. 

Students learn about entertainment business structures and filmmaking skills in all areas. They gain experience in preparing for production (including securing funding and locations, budgeting, and hiring); production (on sets); and post-production (including marketing and distribution). 

Producing Pathway students guide filmmakers and films though a range of creative and practical processes, with an eye to critical and commercial success.
